There are many particular chants, affirmations, thoughts, incantations that I use to energise and empower me throughout the day. But there is one that stands out for me personally that gets me focused not only in the now, but it also takes my mind off the end result and allows me to remain happy and free from worry. The thought is…

No matter the outcome, I am happy now.

Now it’s a pretty simple thought and you can use it for any situation where you are awaiting a decision or a particular outcome. Say for example that you’re waiting for a result of some kind, now this could be anything, it could be the result of a medical test, the outcome of an interview, you could be awaiting a business decision, or an answer from the bank. It could be any number of a thousand things.

Lets take for example you’re waiting for the result of a medical test, for many people, depending on what it is, it could cause a fair amount of worry and anxiety. Lets face it, it’s not a nice feeling when you’re trying to get on with you’re life but you can’t stop thinking about the test results. It’s not a nice feeling and to shift your focus onto something else it not an easy thing to do. It was out of something like this that made me come up with this thought. Of course, naturally, you can’t just think that thought and hope for your worries to go away, it has to be coupled with some sort of distraction, maybe some empowering music, or doing something else you enjoy doing. Put yourself into a good feeling state and say the thought to yourself and believe it. Welcome the challenge, and say “No matter the outcome, I am happy and will remain so.” It has to be said with conviction and belief and when you do you’ll find that a huge weight will be lifted of your shoulders

So if you’re if you’re in a situation we’re you’re precariously running out of nails to bite on, remember the power thought, say it conviction while in a good feeling place, and watch your shoulders return to their upright position. :-D

Thanks Schumi…

One of our regular readers Schumi sent me this lovely quote, we’re not sure of it’s origins but it was so eloquent I just had to post it up.

“Love is the most important ingredient of success. Without it, your life echoes emptiness. With it, your life vibrates warmth and meaning. Even in hardship, love shines through. Therefore, search for love — because if you don’t have it, your not really living — only breathing.”

Even though it’s said over and over again, it can never be said enough, without love there is no purpose to life. Love is more important that breathing. Love is.

Wind and RainFor the last couple of weeks now I’ve had a surge of energy. I’m not sure of the cause but I’ve felt a huge sense of determination and drive permeate me and as a result I’ve been waking up at 5.30am everyday on the dot! Over the last month or so I have been going to bed with the intention of waking up feeling rejuvenated after having a deep, restful nights sleep. I’m not sure if this has had an impact, but one thing’s for sure, I’m going to make use of this “spinach syndrome” :P as much as I can, especially since things have been a bit of a struggle recently due to the treatment I’ve been receiving.

The second my alarm goes off I’ve been getting up and stretching. Then, I get ready to go out for a nice long brisk walk, up any hills I can find to give my body a reasonable work out to get my metabolic rate going. Just before I left the house last Thursday morning, I looked out the window and could see that it was pouring with rain and extremely windy. It almost put me off going out but I was determined not to let the weather determine the course of my day. So I put on my shorts and T-shirt and decided to brave the the stormy weather regardless!

As I left the house, I could feel the rain pelting my legs because the wind was so strong. About 5 mintues into my walk I considered turning back but I knew that if I did I would end up, beating myself up, the entire day. So, I carried on, my arms and legs were freezing, my hands were numb, but I went on and focused on giving thanks for all the wondrous things in my life and my whole experience of life too. I had my Ipod with me and was listening to some of the tracks that really get me going and keep me focused. Some of the tracks I have on my training playlist are:

1) Jackson 5 - Can you feel it
2) James Brown - I feel good
3) Snap - I’ve got the power

These are just a few of the ones that really give me a buzz and that “vibe” of feeling like I’m on cloud 9. They truly are powerful anchors and what I’ve found is that during the day, I’ve been humming or whistling these tunes and whenever I do it fills me with even more energy.

So there I was on this power walk and saying some powerful affirmations out loud whilst also feeling gratitude for the amazing abundance within my life. As I got to the top of the hill I decided to do some press-ups against a wall and once I was done made my way back home. All the while, the wind was howling, and the rain continued to pour. As I was walking back I decided to shift my focus on visualizing my outcomes, the ultimate results for my life. During this time I went into such a deep trance, a deep meditation that I literally forgot about the wind and the rain, so much so that whole body started to feel warm, like I was covered from head to toe and protected by a blanket. While I was in that state my consciousness shifted towards thinking about my spirit, the non physical part of my being. All the while I was barely consciously aware of where I was or what I was doing. My body was on auto pilot! It was only when I got close to my front door that I realised that not only was I almost home, but that I was no longer feeling cold or anything of the sort.

It was almost as if my conscious mind decided to take a break and become unconscious for a while, and my subconscious came to the forefront and was in charge. It goes to show how powerful the unconscious mind can be and when it’s released, little can distract it from it’s purpose.

This is good practice for many situations and so if you’re ever in a situation, where you’re feeling cold, hot, tired, or just not quite with it, start moving around and focus your attention on your outcomes. Focus on them deeply to the point where you’re almost dreaming. Get deeply into that thought and sink into it, once you’re deep you’ll naturally move away from the physical and move towards the spiritual, your consciousness will gravitate more towards the spirit essence of your being.

It’s a fun exercise to do and I love to hear what your experiences of this and if you do something similar. :)

MonaAs much as I love having pictures and observing the great pieces of art around the world, I remembered today to observe the artwork of life. I remembered that the human body is unsurpassed in both it’s mechanical workings and it’s beauty.

Just this evening, I gazed up, and the stars were out. I could see my favorite constellation; Orion. It still truly blows my mind how these giant balls of gas appear to us as tiny specs of beautiful light, scattered across the canvas of the sky.

This morning I was out walking, it was calm and clear, hardly any cars around, I didn’t need my Ipod with me as the birds were providing music to lift and inspire me.

The picture you see at the top of this blog is one I took on my birthday last year. It was one of the most serene sunsets I have ever seen. the light scattering of clouds added colour, depth and and made it one of the most awesome sights to see.

Yesterday I was in Hampstead Heath. A glorious park situated in North London, it has to be one of the pleasant places to be on a Sunday afternoon. There is one point in the park which is quite high up on a hill, and from that point you can see all of London in all it’s glory. The skyline with all the wondrous man made creations made it truly a site to see. I could only stand in awe!

On a day to day basis, look at all the spectacular pieces out there, take a moment, absorb the truly magnificent creations and take snapshots of those priceless works of art! :)

Someone put up a thread on Steve Pavlina’s forums regarding feeling tired, lazy and stressed all the time, it intrigued me and as I was in a similar boat a while back and so I thought I give my tips on how to get over that phase…Here are the tips I gave. (Go and read the thread first!) ;)

Some tips for you for someone who was in exactly the same boat recently.

1) If you can’t be bothered to read, just like me somtimes, get some audio books, put them on at night before you go to sleep. I don’t always feel the urge to read and so audio books on PD are a perfect solution. I listen to Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Steve and Erin, Neale Donald Walsch, Abraham Hicks, MP3 books on NLP etc…I find that having them on gets me to sleep quickly but fills my mind with some of the good stuff. :)

2) Eliminate coffee! The choice is yours, if you don’t want to, don’t have any after midday. I gave up coffee at the beginning of October and my quality sleep went, from a scale of 1 - 10 where 1 is bad, from about a 2, to probably at least an 8 or a 9.

3) At the moment your head hits the pillow, Set your intentional alarm clock. Say this intention out loud in your head - “I am going to sleep deep, and arise energised!” Say it a few times and make sure you say it with energy, passion, and feeling it!! I have been using that for the last month, didn’t have impact for the first few weeks but since the beginning of this week I’ve been waking up at 5.30am on the dot with little effort.

If you’re always tired you’re sleep isn’t deep enough and that usually comes down to high levels of caffeine in your system and probably stress.

4) Wake up to ascending music. Something uplifting, something that gives your spine a tingle!

5) If you have trouble setting your body clock to sleep early, stay awake an entire night, and go to bed early the next and arise early. That method has always done wonders for sorting out my sleeping pattern.

6) STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP. If you do that, all you’re doing is giving yourself incantations of failure. Even when you’ve failed, know that you’ve sown a seed of success and only focus on the true end result that you desire with Joy, excitement and fire!

I don’t know if this is any help to you but all of these things have truly benefited me immensely!

Dreaminder
icon1 Amit Sodha | icon2 Daily, Other Blogs, Your Stories | icon4 01 18th, 2007| icon35 Comments »

I was sent a lovely email by a young man named Peep who asked me to check out his site. I loved what I saw and I loved the idea and I thought why not do a post about it.

The site is called dreaminder and the idea is that you type in what your dreams are and it emails you in the future, to remind you of what your dreams were, so you can compare them to the place you’re in at that moment in time. Here is what Peeps says about dreaminder: -

What is Dreaminder?

A place for reflection.
Take a few moments to write down your dreams for yourself. Think about the life you want and the person you want to be.

A place for You
Your dream is for your eyes only. There is no one judging or telling you what’s possible.

A place for Inspiration
If you are not sure where to start, there is a Dream Wizard that will get you in touch with who you want to be.

Know your direction
On the date you specify, you will receive your dream in the email you entered (make sure it is one you will still be using then). At that point, you have the opportunity to compare the life you live with your dreams and see how far you’ve come.

Why should I write down my dream?
A clear sense of direction is the first step towards changing your world. It can be hard to figure out what you want to do with your life and even harder to keep yourself committed to the goal. Writing your dreams down will help you refine them and remember them. Receiving your dream in the future will help you remember your direction and experience the adventure of knowing yourself.

So there we have it, make some time to check it out and keep your dreams alive! :)

…to bring about automatic successful self-marketing when you meet people is: do something to make them remember you. Get a “thing” that people will always associate with you and you alone.

It could be something as simple as a kind gesture, a silly joke that makes people laugh, approaching people randomly just to say hello! It could be anything of the sort. Don’t just be another face in the crowd, or one of many fish in the sea, be a rare species, Demonstrate your uniqueness and I guarantee that people will remember you for years to come!

Just in September last year, I was at a religious festival, I saw a woman I recognised although I wasn’t quite sure where from, but I felt like I knew her. So I decided to go up and say hello. It turned out that she was a news reporter that I had seen on T.V. Before the end of the festival I made sure I spoke to her again and got her email address. Because of my actions, It’s unlikely that she’ll forget me (although she’s probably trying to :P) and now we have become friends. If I didn’t act, didn’t say hello, didn’t do something out of the blue, I wouldn’t have made this great connection.

Another time, a few years back, I was at a club, and had the chance to sing in front of the camera to win a CD. So I sang my heart out and I won the CD. Little did I realise that It was going to be broadcast on Cable TV!! :-O But because of that people I’ve never met before, still, come up to me and say: “Hey I’ve seen you on T.V. somewhere!”

Be remembered! ;)

Super HeroJust yesterday I was sitting on my bed happily blogging away with my music in the background and letting the creative juices flow. To get myself in the naturally inspired creative mindset I’ll often create random playlists and yesterday an old friend decided to emerge from my playlist of over a five thousand songs. It’s a song by M-People called: “Search for the hero.” I’m sure most of you have heard it but if you haven’t I seriously recommend that you get yourself a copy. It’s one of those songs that you have to play when you’re in a place where you feel somewhat overwhelmed by the challenges that you face on a day to day basis. So whenever you find yourself struggling, remember to search for that hero, that hero deep inside yourself. Whats your theme music for today?

Lyrics:

Sometimes the river flows but nothing breathes.
A train arrives but never leaves.
It’s a shame.
Oh life - like love that walks out of the door,
Of being rich or being poor.
Such a shame.
But it’s then, then that faith arrives
To make you feel at least alive.
And that’s why you should keep on aiming high,
Just seek yourself and you will shine.

[chorus]
You’ve go to search for the hero inside yourself,
Search for the secrets you hide.
Search for the hero inside yourself
Until you find the key to your life.

In this life, long and hard though it may seem,
Live it as you’d live a dream.
Aim so high.
Just keep the flame of truth burning bright.
The missing treasure you must find
Because you and only you alone
Can build a bridge across the stream.
Weave your spell in life’s rich tapestry -
Your passport to a feel supreme.

[chorus]

I gave up a dream once and it was the biggest regret of my life and to this day, is still one of the few things I regret about my life. When I was at school, I absolutely loved drama and performing arts. Acting, singing and dancing around were my passion. I was pretty useless at everything academic and most other things but performing arts I adored!

When I was in Junior school, we had poetry reading competition. We had to a read a poem by Spike Milligan. The competition was that whoever read out the poem the best would read it out in front of the whole school and the parents and all the teachers too. It was a wonderful poem, I don’t remember it that well and but it was something to do with either catching a really big fish or being caterpillar that was getting bigger and bigger from eating so much! Anyway, we had a mini competition first, in front of just our class. We all had the opportunity to read. I read mine out in such a funny way with all the actions and emotions coupled with the poem that my teacher said I was the winner outright and I got to read it in front of the whole school!

Another time at Junior school, we were going to put on a play called Pedro’s Revenge. I auditioned for the Role of Rocadura, a gangsta who controlled the small town in Mexico. None of the other kids could do a rough Mexican accent like I could so I got given the part immediately! I remember that during the play I got to wear a Trilby hat and my older brothers pin stripe suit with gangster style shoes! I loved playing that role and to this day I still have some pictures of me in that play. I remember that there were also reporters there from the local papers and they wrote an article about the play and put us in the paper! :)

I did a few more plays at Junior school and even at secondary school too. When I got to college, as I had pretty much dropped out of high school an not completed many of my exams, I decided to retake drama at college too. While there I also did some productions as part of the drama club whilst retaking my drama exam.

The reason that I became such a high school dropout was because I was taught that the world was going to end very shortly, and I believed it! I was also taught that any big decision I was to undertake in my life should go through our spiritual elders and so I approached one the spiritual elders, I asked her, I want to become an actor and I want to do drama. She said to me: “No, that world is full of vice, go and do an office job.” Which is pretty much what I did. I believed her and I followed her advice, left my performing arts path and went to get a basic admin job.

Now as much as I’m sure she meant well, I wish that at that point in my life I had the courage to follow my own path. I know that that past can never be changed but what I do know for sure is that being on stage, acting, dancing is something very much that I’m yearning for. Just because I gave up on my dreams then it doesn’t mean that I cannot pursue them now!

It’s never too late to follow your dreams. If they truly mean that much to you, you will find a way! It doesn’t matter if you have 4 children, a mortgage, a high paid job that and is your only source of income, other commitments, whatever you think it is that is truly holding you back, is only your own lazy mind conjuring up reasons why those things cannot be done. There is ALWAYS a way. I can’t possibly go over all the ways in which you can get around all the challenges that you might be facing at this particular moment in your life. What I can do is tell you firstly that if you do have a dream and that you have been putting it off for whatever reasons, ask yourself firstly, is it truly your dream if so many excuses have been getting in the way? Is it something you truly want or is it just something you have nice thoughts about and “it would be nice if I could do it” etc. If that’s your only feeling towards it then maybe it’s not your dream and maybe you need to find a new dream.

I for one have many dreams and aspirations, not just the one. And in the course of discovering my dreams I have found some of the ones which were just “nice ideas associated with nice feelings” and separated them from the ones which have an extremely strong pull because I feel deep down within my soul that, that is what I want to do.

The way to separate those things that are “that would be nice” kind of things, from “I must achieve this no matter what” is a two step process which is as follows…

1) Get some quiet time and focus on you. When I say that what I mean is our focus is more often then not on thoughts of the things we have to do during the day, the people we have to email, the household chores that need to be done etc. Step away from those thoughts and bring them back to you. Remember that those things are not you, they are the things you’ve chosen, now who is the real you? What is your spirit, your core, your deepest feeling of being that you can come to? (This in itself, is a powerful regular practice you can adopt for many purposes and not just this.)

2) Once you have gotten to a position of getting closer to your core, ask yourself some rapid fire questions without thinking about the answer. Get a pen and paper handy and write the first thing that you feel like writing without thoughts getting in the way. As for the rapid fire questions, you can ask yourself some random questions to begin with e.g. what is my favorite colour? Do about 5 random questions and then throw in a more serious question related to your life into the mix. For greater effectiveness, do this process with a friend or someone you have a lot of trust in and have a good rapport with. A good way to tell if you’re answering from your core is to get the person who is asking you the questions to keep an eye on your eyes. If your eyes move before you’ve answered, you’ve thought about the answer. Look the person in the eye and answer as rapidly as you can without giving the question any conscious thought.

Don’t be afraid if your dreams change. It just means you’ve grown, expanded yourself and you want to explore something different. Whatever happens though, don’t abandon your dreams for one of the silly reasons that tend to permeate our lives these days, find some courage and get your quizzed with some rapid fire questions to find what out what experience your deep subconscious is yearning for.

Dream big :D

Very often I’ve seen people undertake a particular task and have given up very easily by the early setbacks. In my life, I’ve managed to master a few things. Especially when I was younger, I was incredibly persistent and if there was something that someone could do, I had to try it for myself to and become a master at it. I’m not sure where this attribute came from but it was a good attribute and I’m glad that as a kid I nurtured it.

The first time I remember learning about my persistence was when I started playing soccer at school. A lot of the other kids could do kick ups with the ball and I couldn’t do them. So I decided to spend my afternoons after school teaching myself how to do it. After days of practice I finally managed to do it! I got to the point where I could do hundreds in one go easily and I could now actually do more than some of my friends, through teaching myself and sheer persistence.

After that I knew that if there was something that I wanted to be able to do I could do it if I just kept trying and trying I knew I would get there eventually through dedication and repetition. Since then there were a few other things I really wanted to be able to do and here is a list of a few of the things that I managed to get really good at and master in my own right.

1) Spinning a basketball on my finger - I loved watching basketball on t.v. and it was one of my favorite sports at school. I used to see the pro players like Michael Jordan and Penny Hardaway spin a basketball on their fingers for as long as they wanted. I decided that I wanted to be able to do the same! I was determined to learn how to do it so I went out and bought a basketball and started practicing. There were no hoops where I lived so I couldn’t actually play b-ball, all I could do was bounce the ball and spin it on my finger. After a few weeks of practice I managed to spin the b-ball on my finger for at least a few minutes. I managed to pass it from finger to finger and do a few other tricks too. As I mentioned in one of my other posts I managed to do a little one on one with one of the Harlem Globe Trotters when he visited my school as a guest.

2) Juggling - I always wanted to be juggle balls, something up until that point in my life I had never been able to do. So I went out and bought a set of juggling balls and practiced like mad. I Not only did I manage to learn to juggle 3 balls I managed to learn to juggle pretty much any 3 objects, of a reasonable size, and do some freestyle juggling too! Not only that, because I taught myself how to juggle, I also figured out a way of teaching people how to juggle within 3 minutes. Most people I’ve seen, who’ve tried to teach juggling tend to take a lot of time about it. Again it all came down to that lovely word….persistence!

3) The Budweiser card shuffle - This is my favorite thing I ever learned. There used to be a Budweiser beer commercial that came on in which a guy riding on a train was playing with a deck of cards. In the advert he did this card shuffle which really amazed me and I was adamant that I wanted to be able to do the card shuffle too! So one day, I noticed that we taped the commercial by mistake. So I played the commercial over and over again and studied the card shuffle. It took me about 2 days in total but after repeated viewing and mimicking, I managed to perfect the shuffle. This also led me to go on to being professional magician since I loved learning and doing card tricks so much.

4) Nun-chukka - In my college days I made friends with a guy who was a martial arts expert. Not only did he do martial arts but he was also very good with weapons and one day he showed me what he could do with a pair of nun-chukka. (For those who don’t know, nun-chukka are the weapon where two sticks of about 12inches approx are joined in the middle by a chain. Bruce Lee was one of first people to make Nun-chukka famous on the big screen.) I was memorized. Yes, you guessed it, I had to learn how to do it! So I went to china town and bought myself a pair. I spent weeks practicing as playing around with nun-chukka can be quite a painful experience but I kept at it regardless of how many bruised fingers and bones I had. But it didn’t stop there. A few years later, I saw a t.v. show in which I saw a woman who was an expert at 2 nun-chukka!! Yes 2! You’ve guessed it! I had to be able to do that, so I went out and bought two pairs of foam nun-chukka this time, to lessen the bruises, and I watched the clip of the lady and after hours of practice I manage to master the double nun-chukka move. I was most proud of myself! :)

This whole blog post probably sounds like me just blowing my own trumpet at how good at I am at some things, which I probably am :P but, I’m also demonstrating that the mindset of absolute persistence, that nothing will distract you, that no matter how many failures you suffer, you will keep going and get to your goal. If you truly want to accomplish something, you MUST get into the mindset that nothing but your goal is acceptable, the end result is the only result, failure is not an option, that you can and must persist until your goal is reached.

Persistence = Resistance = Enormous self growth.

SkyI have now been on my treatment for 6 weeks and am just entering week 7. So far it has been an interesting challenge and that is truly putting it mildly. I can honestly say that prior to Xmas and New Years I was really struggling to find any drive or desire to do anything. I spent much of that time in bed and just thinking about what was going on in my life. But even after all the beating up of myself that I did I managed to find some appreciation for my life as it is and regain that drive to continue in all the persuits that I’ve been doing.

This made me ask myself was it the medication or was it was an emotional state I was putting myself in and the answer is that it was a bit of both. The medication itself is definitely changing me and having an emotional effect on me and I knew that I needed a good boost to get me back on track. One thought that came into my head was the New year boost that I mentioned in my post on Tuesday about using it as a catapult to slingshot myself back into a powerful emotional state and so far, I say with great relief, it has worked well for me. I feel like the person I was before all of this began, still facing the challenges, but facing the challenges with a healthy anticipation of what the future holds and feeling more in control rather the medication controlling me.

On a slightly different note but still related, one thing I’m finding right now is that my energy levels are not as high as they could be and so I’m currently looking into getting a good alkalizing green drink supplement that will give my body that energy boost it needs to keep my level of drive as high as it can be during this challenging time. I’ve never tried them before but after doing a little bit of reading about about alkalinity in the body it sort of resonated with me and so I want to give it a go. :) If any of you have any experience of this, I would love to hear them!

Remember: Be all you can be! ;)

On new years eve I decided to go and spend the evening with some friends. We were just going to eat, watch t.v., play games, watch the secret, relax and have a good time. So I was on my way there driving down my usual route which I kind of know like the back of my hand and I came up to a roundabout. It wasn’t raining but it had been and the roads were wet but it wasn’t too cold so there was no ice on the roads.

Now there is one thing that something most of you probably don’t know about me but I have kind of sporty looking car with a 3000 watt sound system which fills up my entire boot (as I love listening to loud music), it as fat alloy wheels and my car is lowered. Anyway, even though it’s not a fast car I do sometimes drive fast and I tend to take corners fast as it handles so well.

So as I was saying, I came up to this roundabout, and as there were no cars around, I decided to put my foot down a little, approach the roundabout with the “racing line” and then step on it. As I did this, the back end of my car decided to swing out even though I know I wasn’t pushing my car to it’s limits…it was a totally unexpected spin! Something which has never happened to me in this car before.

Luckily, when I used to have a company car a few years back, I sometimes used to take it to a gravel car park and practice doing some spins. I know, I know, naughty me!

So, I had some experience of how to handle a car in a spin, as my car started to spin and loose control, something else also popped into my head which was something I heard on some Tony Robbins tapes and it was about when he wanted to be a racing driver. When he was taught how to drive he was taught that one of the most important aspect of racing which is knowing how to bring a car out of a spin. The simple rule, wherever your eyes go, your car will go, so if you focus on the concrete wall surrounding the race track, you will hit that, or if you focus on another car, you will hit that.

So there I was, my car was about to do a 360 when that thought popped into my head. I noticed that just before that point I was actually heading towards some cars waiting to join the roundabout, but then my focus shifted to a clear part of the road and as soon as I did my car started heading in that direction. I’d learned that also to bring a car out of spin that you also opposite lock your steering to the direction your spinning and then as you start to bring your car back to center your turn your steering in the direction of the spin.

So I managed to get my car in complete control again, went around the roundabout with all these people staring at me and then I went on my merry way with a smile on my face and grateful to still be alive! :P

The moral of the story? Well your life will spin out of control when you least expect it, in fact it will spin just as things are going really well, you never know when it will happen or where or what type of spin it will be, you may spin on ice, water, or even just a normal dry road, another car may hit you and you may spin, the only thing you can do it learn some ways to bring yourself out of that spin. You can only truly learn through experience but there is no harm in knowing.

First and foremost, a wonderful happy new year to all my lovely readers! I hope that you had a refreshing and recharging break as did I but it’s now time for your life to get back into full swing and for you to maintain the momentum of the good feelings of the new year and catapult yourself forward.

But why are so many people jumping on the bandwagon? Just the other day I asked someone so what are your new years resolutions? They answered: “I don’t have any, I could do them at any time.” O.K., that’s all well and good but lets face it, you and I both no that’s a lie! We both know that deep down you’re experiencing those same feelings of renewal that we all have at this time of year and that secretly you’re thinking: “I’m gonna make sure I go to the gym everyday this year!” :P

You and I both know that what ever you think about the new year, it goes hand in hand with various feelings of natural motivation. We all know that in reality what we’re feeling is that we know that another year has passed and that another year less to fulfill those dreams that you’ve always had. We also know that you can decide to fulfill those dreams at anytime but the truth is there is a special feeling that goes along with new year, an anchor if you will, that can be put to good use.

Use the feelings, put them to good use, if you do decide to make a resolution or two read my article on how to keep those resolutions going and how to keep the momentum alive. Yes it’s true, you don’t have to wait just until new year comes around to create some solid and powerful resolutions, the truth is you can do them at anytime you choose…so why don’t we? The reason is we need strong reasons to take action and often the new year creates with it strong reasons.

This being my first post of the year, I wish you a wonderful 2007, I’ll be with you the whole way writing as always and offering you whatever support and guidance that I can.

Seal with Zeal! ;)

P.S. I’ll be following up about resolutions soon so make sure you keep up with them otherwise you will have to answer to me…(just giving you some good reasons to keep it up!)
