Just last week I got asked to do a charity stand-up comedy gig at a bar called Ruby Blues in Leicester Sq which I’ll be doing that this evening. It hasn’t given me much time to prepare and I have yet to complete my new routine so I decided for now, as it was such short notice, that I’d stick with my older material.
This in itself is a new challenge as this time I will not be with the usual Humili-Asian crew. It’ll be my first gig as just me performing for an audience. I won’t lie, I’m incredibly nervous but I’m just going to go out there and have as much fun as I possibly can!! 
As Susan Jeffers would say, feel the fear and do it anyway!
Also, on Saturday I’ll be on stage hosting the Hanwell Carnival. This is the first time I’ve been asked to do it and I’m really excited about that. It’s open to anyone who wants to come along so if you want to come along and have fun you’re more than welcome to do so, the kids will love it and feel free to bring along friends and family too!
