Thats and awesome idea and something I do quite unconsciously at work with people! Tactile contact is always important for gaining a rapport and trust although not always necessary, but it does solidify the bond!

Any form of contact has the same effect. It’s difficult to hug everyone in a work environment, so i touch peoples shoulders or arm as a way of engaging the barrier and merging the energy between me and another person. Im in HR, so for anyone who is in this field should know that body language and gaining trust is important, so try it, by comfortably stepping into another persons energy. It takes time to understand how to do this effectivly, but once you know how, it becomes second nature!
