100 Days of Wisdom…Day 58

For the last few days I’ve been doing a sports leadership course and throughout the course we’ve been doing various sports and physical activities. We’ve been playing basketball, tennis, cricket and even some sports we’ve made up.

Now, even though I’m a regular badminton player, my muscles are hurting to no end! Why? I play regularly and I exercise regularly and yet still I’m aching? The reason is because all the same muscles are all still being used but they are being used in a different way.

This has this taught me to vary my physical activities more often and to regularly try out new things. Not only is it fun, but it will also stretch you and cause your muscles to grow and you to become stronger.

Every couple of days try a new physical activity, game or movement and rotate it regularly to keep your muscles growing and to keep your body strong and supple.
